Yummy healthy almond and fig pie

INGREDIENT FOR PIE CRUST

1  1/4 cups all purpose flour  

half cup butter chill 

1/4 Cup water cold 

pinch salt 

Almonds finely chopped 75 gram

 chopped fig  50 gram

1 cup milk 

1 spoon corn flour 

1/4 sugar (regular)

1/4 Cup brown sugar .

Preparation method for almond and fig Pie. 

1 )Mix  the flour with sugar, butter ,and Pinch of salt 

2) Mix milk ,butter, sugar, brown sugar and blend well .

3 ) Cook over low heat till well mixed and add almond and fig chopped than place the mixture in the baked pie shell.

To bake,


place the pie on a baking sheet in a 375゜F oven and bake for 20 minutes  until the top starts to lightly brown then lower the temp to 350゜F  and bake from 45 minutes .

Let the pie coal for an hour before cutting into it and serve it plain  or with chocolate icecream.
